How Easy Is Salvation?
In Ephesians 2:8 we learn that salvation is the ________ ____ ________. If someone were to give you a gift, would you have to pay for it? Salvation is as easy as receiving a gift! We cant work for it! We cant pay for it (compare Acts 8:18-20)! We cant earn it by our own efforts! All we can do is receive it! According to 1 John 5:11-12, in order to have Gods gift you must also have Gods __________. Thus, to be saved the sinner must receive a Person! Read John 3:14-15. All those who beheld the bronze serpent lived! All those who look upon the Son of man lifted up on the cross shall also live!
