The studies listed  below can be used in different ways.  They are ideal for use in the Sunday School.  Many of these studies contain 13 lessons which are ideal for use in a Sunday School Quarter.  These studies may also be used as a Bible curriculum for home schoolers.  They are also useful for personal Bible study.  If these lessons are carefully studied, the results could be equivalent to a Bible institute or Bible school education, especially when integrated with other studies available on this website.  May the Lord help everyone of us to "search the Scriptures daily" (Acts 17:11).

In the descriptions below, if it says "good for juniors," this refers to young people who are 9-12 years of age (fourth through sixth graders).

Many of these lessons are also available in PDF Format, so that they can be printed out in a format that is immediately ready for use in Sunday School or for teaching children in the home or for personal Bible Study.  These lessons may be reproduced and used for God's glory--for the edification of God's people and the evangelization of those outside of Christ.


New Believers - Basic doctrinal worksheets for NEW BELIEVERS.  Deals with inspiration, depravity, salvation, justification, sanctification, eternal security, assurance of salvation, Christian living and many other topics in a simple and clear way.  Good for new believers (or even unsaved people who are seeking) whether adults or teens.   If you would like to enroll in our New Believers' Correspondence Course and have your lessons corrected through the mail, please Contact Us (there is no cost). The Gospel of John - Presenting the Person and Work of the Lord Jesus Christ.  This is a chapter by chapter study where the student is forced to see what the chapter teaches by answering various questions. Good for adults or teens.  This is good material for an evangelistic Bible study.  Good for a Sunday School Quarter (13 lessons).

Dispensationalism--Shedding Light on the Dispensations - A comprehensive but easily understood study of all the dispensations, in a day when dispensational truth is being ignored and rejected.  The first two chapters carefully define what dispensationalism really is.  Good for adults and teens.  Good for a Sunday School Quarter (13 lessons).

The Life of Christ - 16 Lessons dealing with the major events in the life of Christ (His baptism, His temptation, His claims, His rejection, His miracles, His transfiguration, His trials, His death, His resurrection, etc.).  Good for adults and teens.

The Gospel of Matthew - A chapter by chapter analysis of this book from a dispensational point of view.  Good for adults and senior high teens. Useful for personal or group Bible studies.  PDF Format.   Good for a Sunday School Quarter (13 lessons).

Epistle to the Romans - A verse by verse study of this important doctrinal book.  Probably the most important study found on this website.  These studies have been used on college campuses for the purpose of evangelism and discipleship.  Useful for personal edification.  Good for adults, college students and serious teens.

The Book of Acts - A verse by verse study by Dr. John Whitcomb [in progress].

The Person and Work of the Holy Spirit (16 Lessons)  - These lessons deal with the personality and deity of the Holy Spirit, His work of regeneration and indwelling, His sealing ministry, Spirit baptism, the gifts of the Spirit, inspiration and many other topics.

The Church, God's Testimony to Men and Angels [available in PDF Format only] - An important study on New Testament local church truth.  Good for adults.  It is used at the Middletown Bible Church as a required study for prospective members.

Learning from Church History - Thirteen practical lessons from Church History.  Those who fail to learn from history are bound to repeat its mistakes. Good for adults and teens.  Good for a Sunday School Quarter (13 lessons).

Englishman's Greek - Practical Helps in Understanding the Language of the New Testament (this course is meant to be helpful to students of the Word whether they know Greek or not).  Especially helpful for Pastors and Bible teachers.  Based on a course taught by Dr. James Boyer entitled, "Greek Exegetical Methods."  There are 10 Lessons.  


The Book of Books - A general introduction to the Bible dealing with inspiration, how to read and study the Bible, Bible customs, how the OT and NT Books fit together, how we got our Bible, destructive criticism, etc.  Good for adults and teens.  Good for a Sunday School Quarter (13 lessons).

New Testament Books - Introducing the 27 Books of the New Testament. Good for adults and teens.  Good for a Sunday School Quarter (13 lessons).

Old Testament Books - Introducing the 39 Books of the Old Testament. Good for adults and teens.  Good for a Sunday School Quarter (13 lessons).

The Book of Micah (PDF Format Only) - God's message to a sinful people (7 lessons covering the seven chapters in Micah).  A chapter by chapter study of this prophetic book on a level that young people can understand and can apply to themselves. Good for juniors (4th-6th graders) and teens.

Proverbs - Choosing the Way of Wisdom. Good for adults and teens.  Deals with some of the great practical themes of the book of Proverbs such as the sluggard, the fool, friends, drinking, the words of our mouth, sexual temptations, etc.  Good for a Sunday School Quarter (13 lessons).

Thirteen Bible Characters - Their LIVES and their PROBLEMS.  Includes Eve, Cain, Jacob, Samson, Ruth, Saul, David, Absalom, Solomon, Haman, etc.  Personal application is made with each lesson.  Good for adults and teens.  Good for a Sunday School Quarter (13 lessons).

Relationships As I Travel Down Life's Roadway - Covers such things as self-image, the crowd, loneliness, parents, marriage, sex, love, temptations, etc.   Good for Teens and for parents.  Good for a Sunday School Quarter (13 lessons).

Man, Christ, Sin and the Cross -  A doctrinal and practical study on man's problem and God's solution centered in the Person of God's Son, our Lord Jesus Christ.   Some of the topics include man's origin, man's purpose, man's destiny, the deity of Christ, the sinlessness of Christ, the origin of sin (angelic and human), the significance of the cross both for saved and unsaved. Salvation, Security and Assurance - Very practical study for teens and adults.  Topics include salvation, redemption, propitiation, reconciliation, faith, justification, repentance, assurance, security, etc.  Good for a Sunday School Quarter (13 lessons).

Spiritual Life - How to grow in the Lord and be a healthy believer. Covers growth, confession, the local church, the bible, prayer, Lordship, faith, obedience, knowing God's will, overcoming temptations, etc.  Designed for teens and juniors (4th-6th graders).   Good for a Sunday School Quarter (13 lessons).

The Twelve Disciples - Practical and detailed studies on all 12 disciples as well as Matthias, James and Paul.  Good for adults, teens and juniors.  Good for a Sunday School Quarter (13 lessons).

The Church--God's Called Out Assembly - This study deals with local church truth with an emphasis on the book of Acts.  It also explains the forward progress of the gospel to all nations. Thinking About Me - Written for 4th to 6th graders and deals with practical subjects which they face such as being healthy, food and nourishment, resting and sleeping, work and money, friends and foes, school and learning, family and parents, going on and growing up.

Thinking About My World - (Recently Revised and Improved) Deals with problems young people face in the world.  Subjects include climates, cultures, the problem of evil, disease, war, wrongs done, what the future holds, etc.  Good for juniors (4th-6th graders).   Good for a Sunday School Quarter (13 lessons).
